Domestic bliss it ain’t.
Two years ago, TV co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes stole away to a cabin in the woods for a romantic weekend away from their spouses, DailyMail.com reported in a bombshell exclusive.
While in New York’s Shawangunk Mountains they literally couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
But now, with both divorced and as the first flames of passion have long passed, Amy has revealed that she kicked T.J. out of their bed in the middle of the night.
And earlier this week the once oh-so-touchy-feely couple were spotted bickering, keeping each other at arms’ length with no attempt to show affection.
‘They’re certainly not as lovey-dovey as they used to be,’ says a source familiar with the former GMA3 hosts.

In November, 2022 GMA co-host Holmes couldn't keep his hands of Robach when the twosome spent a weekend shacked up in a cozy cottage in the Shawangunk Mountains DailyMail.com reported exclsuively
The co-anchors, whose on-screen chemistry had captivated audiences since they joined GMA's third hour, were seen laughing and cozying up to each other at the pub after a morning of filming
‘I know that tends to happen in relationships, but Amy has to be wondering, what with T.J.’s history.
‘A lot of things are up in the air – whether or not to actually move in together since they keep separate apartments, dealing with their relationships with their kids and when – or even if – they intend to marry at some point.’
On Thursday, Robach, 51, revealed that she made Holmes, 46, get out of bed in the early hours, after he insisted on turning up the volume of his bedroom television to watch Olympics women’s marathon swimming – a two-hour slog that started at 1.30am.
That was just two days after they were spotted deep in a tense conversation on the streets of New York as they returned home from the gym.
The once-loved-up couple have been broadcasting their daily ‘Tea from Paris’ podcast – live from the dining room table in T.J.’s New York apartment while his washing machine thwumps in the background.
It’s a far cry from the last Olympics when Amy excitedly captioned Instagrams from Tokyo where she was covering the four-yearly sports spectacular for ABC.
It’s not even close to how they started their affair six months before it became public, when they were away from their spouses in London covering Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
This year she is having to watch the games on TV like the rest of us while her former colleague Janai Norman reports for the network from France.
Amy, 51, could be seen gesticulating wildly as they spoke, while T. J., 46, looked stone-faced when he wasn't getting close to her face
And by day 13 of their own personal marathon Robach had had enough of her lover’s Olympic TV viewing, complaining about the volume coming from the set.
‘So he put it on while we’re both lying there and normally, we all know T.J likes the TV on, and normally I can drone [sic] it out
‘But for some reason the commentary…. I couldn’t fall back asleep, so you had to go into the other room.’
T.J. argued he needed to watch every minute of the swimming in the Seine.
‘This is a sport, there’s not constant action. There’s action but it’s a bit like watching a NASCAR race, at some point you think they’re just going round in circles.
‘You have to really pay attention to the nuance, and I had to have all the nuance explained to me,’ he explained.
Robach chipped in, ‘So you had to turn up the volume and that’s when I was like, “Babe, can you turn down the volume?” So, you just left the room.’
According to Holmes even the thought of cuddling with his lover wasn’t a big enough temptation – he never slipped back between the sheets.
It’s not so long ago that Robach and Holmes couldn’t get enough of each other. Pictures obtained by DailyMail.com in November 2022 showed the couple enjoying a romantic getaway upstate.
Taken at the peak of their then-clandestine affair, Holmes couldn’t even watch Robach load up a car trunk without grabbing her butt.
Now he’s banished from his own bed.
The podcasters were seenpacking on the P DA for the first time in public as they enjoyed a Christmas break in Miami in December, 2022
This glimpse into the reality of the couple’s daily dynamic came hot on the heels of Robach’s on-air admission that she had hit ‘rock bottom’ after their affair came out publicly.
Two years ago both were married – she to Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 57, and he to attorney Marilee Fiebig, 46 – when DailyMail.com published exclusive pictures of the pair getting handsy with each other in a Manhattan bar, holding hands in an Uber and enjoying a weekend upstate.
In an unexpected twist to the torrid tale, it emerged last December that Shue and Fiebig are now a couple.
According to insiders the pair have been dating for around eight months after realizing their connection went far deeper than a shared understanding of their spouses’ betrayal.
But while Shue and Fiebig’s romance is going from strength-to-strength exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com this week suggest that the bloom is off the rose of Robach and Holmes’s once budding romance.
Robach has reason to be worried. Holmes is known to have had at least three other affairs with work colleagues while employed by ABC. One was with a 24-year-old intern who looked up to the then-37-year-old as a mentor.
Robach and Holmes, who have not yet moved in together, appeared tense and irritable after a workout in their Manhattan gym at which they are regulars earlier this week.
Walking side by side but never touching, Holmes wore a grey T-shirt and blue pants while Amy wore a black tank top with khaki pants, the promise ring gifted to her by Holmes and threaded through a Tiffany chain clearly visible at her neck.
Amy, 51, could be seen gesticulating wildly as they spoke, while T. J., 46, looked stone-faced when he wasn't getting in her face.
So, is the TV affair of the decade cooling off? For T.J. and Amy only time will tell.
