How do I clock in on SubItUp? ›

According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), employers can round their employees' clock-in and clock-out time to the nearest 5 minutes, the nearest one-tenth of an hour or 6 minutes, or the nearest quarter hour or 15 minutes.

To clock out, select “Clock Out” from the menu bar and perform the same operations previously described. To Clock-Out, perform the same operations under the “Clock Out” option.

Clock-In rounding: When an employee clocks in, their entry time is rounded to the nearest quarter-hour increment. If they clock in between 0-7 minutes past the quarter-hour mark, it's rounded down, and if it's 8-14 minutes past, it's rounded up.

With a 15-minute rule, a time entry of 7:53 AM is rounded to 8:00 AM, the nearest quarter hour. Rounding specifies how employees are compensated. If employees should be paid in 15-minute increments, using a 15-minute rounding rule will calculate total hours to that specification.

For every three minutes after each the 6-minute increment, time is rounded down. Conversely, the second half of the interval rounds up to the nearest 6 minutes. It's that simple.

How do I approve time on TimeClock Plus? ›

Check the box in the Manager (M) Approval column to approve the time. This can be done segment (line) by segment by checking the box, or if you click on the “M” in the column header it will check the boxes for the entire timesheet (see below).
